Meining Zhang received her B. Sc and M. Sc in Chemistry from Shaanxi Normal University. She received her PhD degree in the Institute of Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006 and pursued post-doctoral studies at Tohoku University (2006-2008). She is a recipient of the 2015 "National Excellent Young Scholars" from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2024 "National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars" and the 2017 “Distinguished Young Scholars” from Renmin University. She is currently ‘Wu Yuzhang Distinguished Professor’(Professor, Doctoral supervisor) in the Department of Chemistry at Renmin University of China, committed to in vivo monitoring of neurochemicals mainly based on rational design and careful construction of electrode with high specificity and sensitivity. She has won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award (ranked third) and the first prize of Science and Technology Award of the China Association for Analysis and Testing (ranked first).

Dr. Wei Huan

Huan Wei received her B.S. degree in Applied Chemistry from Shandong University in 2011. She received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021, supervised by Prof. Lanqun Mao. From 2022 to 2025, she conducted postdoctoral research at Beijing Normal University. In 2025, she became a Lecturer of School of Chemistry and Life Resources at Renmin University of China. Her research focuses on in vivo electroanalytical chemistry with high neuro-compatibility. She has awarded the Young Scientists Fund by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the General Program Grant from the 73th Batch of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. She has published a series of important research papers in Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. ed. and other internationally recognized journals.
